

Talc is a drying agent that is commonly used in cosmetics as well as personal care products. She began using it when she was 'probably 12 years old.' Her life was turned upside down and plans for the future of her family were foiled. Mrs Stahl said: ‘From that moment on my life changed because that's when he said I think that we're dealing with something, possibly ovarian cancer, and it just became a blur for a while.’ She told : 'There was a time when I didn't think that was going to happen' Ms Stahl has three daughters and seven healthy grandchildren, a fact that she does not take for granted.
